Local politics are the truest form of direct democracy there is. Unhindered by the trappings of greed and power, local activists around the country work silently every day to improve the well-being of their communities.

Alex Torres's career as well as our campaign began locally in the streets of District 38, and we are not about to abandon our roots. Whether it's the fight for better schools, a balanced budget or fixing local roads, Alex Torres will stand by the side of District 38 to fight for a better tomorrow.
